Remember to Note

Where possible (and time permitting) it is recommended that you spend some time with the audience in a casual socialization. This will allow you to get feedback from the audience and establish a rapport with them for the future.

To ensure the children’s attention is retained, the program should be presented in 30 to 40 minutes.

If a search dog is to be introduced to the children do not let the dog in the room until after the program has been presented. Otherwise, the children’s attention will be directed to the dog, not the program.

At no time should you be in a room without another adult present. This is to protect you, the presenter, and the program.
